Here are a few of the top beat making software programs available online for download. These programs are perfect for beginners as the user interface is extremely easy to get used to. Also, they are pretty cheap compared to other music making softwares.

While there are some free beat making software, none of them are reliable as there is no customer support or community support. The quality of the program too is also usually crap. That being said, it is necessary to invest some money into programs.

These are the few programs that you should get if you're looking to make beats

1-DubTurbo

-Include high quality wav samples. They are not compressed at all meaning that your beats will come out with the highest quality
-Drop and drag 16 track sequencer = easy + quick beat making abilities
-You can use your keyboard as a drum machine. You don't need any external drum pads
-It is a music studio all-in-one. It contains high quality virtual sounds such as pianos, saxes and you may play with them along with a 4 octave sampling keyboard. These samples are mastered to bring the highest quality available.

2. Sonic Producer

This is a great program. It is similar to DubTurbo and includes over 2000 high quality sounds.
Just like DubTurbo, it has a 16-track sequencer, piano keys, drum pad and synths.

This is a great product but however, the included samples although still very high quality, seems a bit lower than DubTurbo's quality. I would still recommend this after DubTurbo.

3.MAGIX Music Maker MX

Still a great program but it isn't as complete as the other 2 programs. However to compensate for that, it has a huge collection of sounds and samples. Over 3500!

It comes with a sample player, lead synth, loop designer, drum engine, MIDI editor and a lot more. You can export your final product as wav or midi files.

These are the 3 most recommended beat making softwares for beginners if you want to get an idea of what making beats is like. There are many other programs out there such as Ableton but they cost well over $600 and may seem intimidating to look at if you've never dealt with a music software before.
